The Brookville JV girls soccer team opened their season with a victory over Bethel, earning a 1-0 record. Emma Sidaras and Kate Haydon each scored to lift the Blue Devils to the win. Olivia Shelton secured the shutout defending the goal.
The Brookville Varsity girls soccer team also came out on top against Bethel, posting a 4-1 victory. Chloe Christian and Helena Brown each scored twice, while Lexi Wright added an assist. The win moves the varsity team to 2-0 on the season. Their first victory came this past weekend against Greenville, where Adalynn Simonds and Kinley Kummer scored, and Maddalyn Tarkany tallied two assists. Jaylee Brooks earned the shutout as goalkeeper.
