Coy recently showcased his elite speed on the national stage at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in California—an event that has hosted 203 Olympians over its 56-year history. Competing as the only non-California athlete in both the 100m and 200m, Coy held his own and then some:
4th in the 100m – 10.48 (2nd fastest time in Ohio this spring across all divisions per MileSplit)
His performance proves he’s not just one of Ohio’s best—he’s among the nation's elite.

We are proud to recognize Coy Hyre, defending OHSAA Division II state champion in the 100m and 200m, for being named SWBL Athlete of the Week!
Coy recently showcased his elite speed on the national stage at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in California—an event that has hosted 203 Olympians over its 56-year history. Competing as the only non-California athlete in both the 100m and 200m, Coy held his own and then some:
